Hi again, Eileen!

In order to use that background on GoDaddy, the first question would be whether you have permission from CutestBlogsontheBlog to use that background image on a different site. If so, then... Hmm. I can see two ways to do it that wouldn't be too difficult, but EXPLAINING them is another matter altogether!

If/when you know you have permission to use it off of blogger, and you want to try this, contact me through my website and I'll see if I can walk you through it. :-)

Wow!!!!!!

This is amazing. Thanks so much Jordan and Katie! There is a wealth of helpful info here. I just knew I would miss something amazing while away, but so thankful it's still here for me to catch up on. It will take me a while, but I will work through incorporating all the advice you've offered. My website is out of date, I've been bugged about that for a while and now that I have these tips to work on too, I must dig out my password and work on the chore of updating.

Katie, I've had the very same problem with the look of my blog being so different to my website. I used a GoDaddy template for my website, but found my blog template from CutestBlogsontheBlog which I feel is far more fitting for my genre and who I am. But I'm not sure how to get that background onto my website. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

To me, the search engine and header stuff is very techy, (hard to believe I was a systems analyst for years, I know, but coding in Cobol is far different than this web language stuff), so I'm going to have to work on figuring out all that you've suggested here.

Thanks so much for such a thorough review of my site and even looking at my blog too. I hadn't expected that, but much appreciate all your helpful comments and suggestions!

I must print this post off and work on incorporating it all. I'll let you know once I finally get through all the updating. Probably won't be until after conference in Sept. though, as I'm crazy busy getting ready for it.

Blessings to you Both and a HUGE THANK YOU!!

Awesome, Deb! Way to go!

(Just a note: Eileen is offline this week, so she won't be around to respond for a few days).
