While a writer wouldn't want to box themselves in a corner or have a dead-end plot, there's something pretty awesome, though, about that house. She managed to create something so unique (it's lavishly constructed) that it's a landmark visited by thousands. So maybe there's something to a bit of crazy wildness, eh? Wonderful analogy!
