Hi Jordan!

Thanks for celebrating with me on my blog today. I really am beyond touched at how many people offered their congratulations!

To answer your questions about timing. Well, I went to the ACFW conference (September 17-20). I had a one-on-one appointment with Rachelle. She suggested some minor changes I could make and asked me to submit the full manuscript to her once my manuscript was ready. So I sent it to her at the very end of September. She called me on Monday to offer representation. So I waited to hear from her for about a month and a half. Which sounds super fast, doesn't it? I'm willing to bet a hefty amount of money that meeting her face-to-face at the conference helped a lot as far as moving me up in the pile.

Are you submitting right now?

Take care,
Katie
