We just finished up a fun series on Clues in non-mysteries (aka how to foreshadow), and several of my older series are available as free PDF writing guides. On Wednesdays I (try) to do a Wednesday Writing link-up where you can share your latest, greatest posts on writing craft, writing life, publishing and all things related (but I slipped the last two weeks).

    I would probably buy a greek bible. (That has to sound so strange) I’ve been watching the price on Amazon for a while and this would finally push me over the edge to buy it.

    I probably should have said, “I’ll get this super fab fiction book that everyone is raving about” but this is what I would really do with it. It’s a treat I haven’t been able to indulge myself in. And it IS a book (and research)

    Thanks for stopping by my blog … jumped over here and I couldn’t be more excited with your great PDF writing resources. I so admire writers, and yes, someday, I might write a great **unpublished** novel, or a “just for hoots” short story.

    I’m your newest follower too … wouldn’t have even needed the Amazon gift card possibility as an incentive, but since it is being offered I would either purchase books or Amazon is my online source for some healthy ingredients I use for cooking, so that would work very nicely.

  50. Thanks for putting the Google Friend Connect on here. Thats always my following of choice on blogs. And if I were so lucky as to win your prize, I have some things on Amazon that I put to the side for Christmas. I know its early to be thinking of that now since we havent even gotten into Halloween yet but I like to think things out early. Anyhow, my purchases would be some DVD’s and a couple of books.   54. You know who I am, but I follow via Google Reader so that doesn’t really make me eligible. If I *were* eligible and happened to win, I’d probably use the $30 to replace Strunk and White’s Elements of Style, since I lent mine and didn’t get it back. (I hate when that happens!) I’m enjoying this opportunity to rove around and check out new blogs anyway.

    And I’d buy BOOKS, of course. I have way too many in my wish list right now. It’s really quite pathetic. Among them: The Sibling Effect. Sounds totally fascinating. May need to read it for character research.
